 Maybe you have been to therapy before, and this is one more attempt to feel either feel whole, happy and peaceful; or work with current and overwhelming life challenges; or heal and let go of difficult or traumatic experiences in your life; or regulate a new or chronic diagnosis. Either way, coming to counselling or psychotherapy tends to be a difficult step, yet a self-loving step towards wellness.

What is Individual Counselling or Psychotherapy?

Individual counselling and psychotherapy are unique in a way that allows you to develop a one-on-one therapeutic relationship with your therapist. In this professional relationship, you can be sure that all of your information will be kept in full confidentiality and that that you will be heard non-judgmentally.

As your therapist, I work with you to unpack the challenges that are pressing your life in ways that is making it difficult to cope and leading to distress with yourself, or with people you love.

The therapeutic approach I work from is NOT a process where an “expert” will come to determine what is wrong with you, diagnose you and provide you of treatment to cure or fix what is broken. It is rather a process where I will use my expertise, professional knowledge and resources to work with you and find ways for you to better understand yourself, your life and your experiences. Thus, promoting your healing and growing process and arriving to the sweet spot of a life experienced in safety and freedom.
